The textile recycling rate has reduced by half in one year, while the disposal rate has increased by 36.81%. With waste generation growing as economic activities ramp up, there is greater urgency to shift from a linear to a circular economy, a key part to the Zero Waste Masterplan and the Singapore Green Plan.
